The guitar song

 

It was a very very very fine day 

when I got my first guitar

one pound a week was the only way

my mum and dad paid the price 

for the beauty that I got

every day I played them my guitar

with that six string in my hand

school was out of reach

couldn't find the time to read my books

and it is funny how it looks

I really did my best

but the teacher said: you don´t sync with the rest

but I don't mind

cause all I want….  play my guitar

 

life it isn't fair we all get our fair share

pain and sorrow, but I don't care

cause my guitar  every day I play my guitar

 

Now when it is bloody hot outside

I like to stay inside

my wife goes for a swim but I stay in

I grab my guitar and I play the song I wrote today

hope you like it cause I play it all day long
